Keynote Presenter Information

An Extended Literature Review as Evidence for a Romance Language Learning FrameworkConnie Castro Rosales is an International Business major passionate about language acquisition. During her time at SEU, she has served on the Honors Leadership Team, actively engaged with the international student community, and founded the Language Club. Connie has also served as a student worker in both the Steelman Library and the School of Honors. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Romance Languages in Europe.

Investigating the Likelihood of Missionary Kids Becoming Career MissionariesHannah Heilman is a missional leadership major. During her time at SEU, she has served on student leadership, led and been engaged in house groups on campus, and served at Church for the One. Upon graduation, she plans to become a missionary in Micronesia with AGWM,

A Case Study Analysis Examining the Removal of Unanimity from Death Penalty SentencingJeremiah Moniz is a Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Major with a minor in Political Science. Jeremiah has been an active member of the SEU community including serving as the president of the SEU debate team, working at Steelman Library, and being a part of SGA in several roles. Upon his graduation this spring, Jeremiah plans on attending Regent University School of Law and working to get his J.D. to eventually become a licensed attorney.

Navigating Faith and Knowledge: Exploring Self-Perceptions of Scientific Literacy and The Conflict Narrative in Relation to Personal UpbringingEmma Cartwright is a Biochemistry Research major with a minor in Biblical Studies at SEU. She serves on the leadership teams for the SEU chapters of Alpha Chi, the American Chemical Society, Kappa Mu Epsilon, and the Pre-Health Service Organization. Emma is also part of the SEU School of Honors and Career Services leadership teams and volunteers with youth at Church for the One. Additionally, she is a teaching assistant for the College of Natural and Health Sciences and a science tutor. After graduating, she plans to teach high school chemistry or biology.

Beyond the ScreenCelia Killen is a general communications major in her last semester here at SEU. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue post-graduate education in counseling to become an academic advisor in higher education.

Molecular Alchemy: Bridging the Gap in Parkinson’s Disease ManagementSavannah Page, a biochemistry major, has served as a teaching assistant for the College of Natural and Health Sciences and as a residential assistant for Aventura hall. She has participated in the SciPeer program as a mentor, in the American Chemical Society as secretary, and has been an active member of Southeastern's Christian Medical and Dental Association. Savannah is currently applying to graduate programs where she plans to pursue a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience.

Marketing’s Effect on Societal Health
Carissa Holdridge is pursuing a double major in marketing and international business. During her time at SEU she served as a resident assistant and interned abroad in Italy as a part of her academic requirement. Upon graduation, Carissa plans to begin her career in marketing.

Debbie will graduate as an accounting major.
An Evolution of Public Discourse: A Comparison of the Modern Coffee Shop Movement to that of the 17th Century London Coffee HousesSpring Iskra is a communication major with a minor in graphic design. She has been involved in the SEU community since her first semester on campus through multiple departments. She served as a tour guide and welcomed prospective students as Campus Ambassador Coordinator and Lead Ambassador. She has been a student worker for the Nursing Department and an academic mentor for the LINK program. She hosted the Improv team on Friday nights and led a house group entitled "Crockpot Book Club." She will be moving abroad to Ecuador upon graduation.
Cultural Competency and the Great Commission: Empowering Gospel-Centered Short Term Mission Trips Through Contextualization EducationAbi Court is an organizational leadership major with a minor in Christian ministry. During her time at SEU, she has been a student athlete, as well as a student leader as a tour guide and a lead ambassador with campus visits and events, and a student worker in traditional enrollment. In addition, she helps to coordinate volunteers for the SEU missions department and is leading a trip to Zambia in the summer. She serves with Access Church as both a youth leader and a worship leader. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a MSW degree and step into full-time missions in Africa.
Crimson Cord Ministries: Equipping Churches To Empower Women Facing Unplanned Pregnancies To Follow Jesus Through Faithful DiscipleshipAva Winkler is a public relations major at SEU. While at SEU, she has served on the board of officers of the Students for Life club and coordinated trips to the National March for Life. Ava is currently the Communications Strategist at Options for Women Pregnancy Help Clinic. Upon graduation, she plans to continue serving in the pro-life ministry and advocating for those affected.
A Guide to the Respective Spirituality, Legality, and Morality of Abortion and the Death Penalty from the Christian PerspectiveCollin Quirk, a double major in criminal justice and legal studies, has been an active member of multiple organizations across campus. He has served has president of the SEU Mock Trial Team, Vice President of the Speech and Debate Team, Chief Justice in SGA, and has been an active participant of SEU Fire Film. Following graduation, he plans to attend law school to eventually work as an attorney working in human trafficking.

Katarina Moorman is pursuing a double major in Tourism & Hospitality Management and International Business. During her time at SEU, she has served as a member on the Honors Leadership Team, the First Year Experience Team, participated in and led several SEU Missions trips, and played in intramural sports. Katarina currently works as the Sales & Event Coordinator at Camp Margaritaville Auburndale and hopes to continue taking on responsibilities there upon graduation.
Leaner Streets and Safer Feet: A Case Study of the Road Diet Test on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland FloridaAdam Amritzer is pursuing a double major in accounting and finance and is an international student from Stockholm, Sweden. During the summers he has been active as a missionary to Africa through SOS adventure as well as a leader of his home church’s youth ministry. Adam is excited to serve the kingdom of God with the skills that his studies have given him.
Life Expectancy in the United States 2000 - 2020Alejandro Mendoza Lunatti is a double major in Mathematics and Finance at Southeastern University and an active member of the Kappa Mu Epsilon math honor society. Following his undergraduate studies, he will pursue an MBA at Southeastern University and plans to later earn a PhD in Statistics. Alejandro aims to build a career in quantitative financial research, combining his analytical skills with his passion for advanced finance.
Health Insurance Literacy among College StudentsLois Asenso-Gyambibi is a Mathematics major with a concentration in Actuarial Sciences and a minor in Data Science and Cybersecurity, blending her interests in data and math. She completed actuarial internships at Thrivent Financial and CVS Health and engaged in SEU's tech program, introducing prospective students to Southeastern’s courses. She has participated in academic conferences and case study competitions, enhancing her actuarial knowledge, and successfully passed two actuarial exams. After graduation, she will start full-time as an actuarial analyst at CVS Health.
The Rise of Colorectal Cancer in Young Adults: Evaluating Precision Medicine's Role in Enhancing Treatment OutcomesAkua Kwartemaa Owusu, a mathematics major with a concentration in biostatistics, has actively engaged in leadership and advocacy during her time at SEU. She served as a student leader at Career Services and co-founded a creation care advocacy workshop, empowering freshmen and high school students to become environmental stewards. Passionate about research that advances healthcare, Akua aims to pursue graduate studies in biostatistics after graduation to contribute meaningfully to this field.

She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Upon graduation, Madyson plans to begin her career as a pediatric nurse before continuing her education in a doctorate primary care pediatric nurse practitioner program.
Those with Cerebral Palsy Transitioning from Childhood to AdulthoodSophie Mistretta is a kinesiology major who is focusing on the rehabilitation side specifically occupational therapy. She became the secretary of PPOTA, a club made for those who have majors in physical or occupational therapy, and worked as an office assistant in the Academic Center for Enrichment. After graduation, she plans to attend AdventHealth University or the University of St. Augustine to receive her Master's in Occupational therapy. She hopes to then become a pediatric occupational therapist and work in hospitals.
Proposed Method for Analyzing the Cognitive Effects of Chiari Malformation Type I and the Progression Following Cerebral Tonsil ReductionIsabella Gleason is pursuing a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a double minor in Neuroscience and Psychology. During her time at SEU, she volunteered for the trauma department at Lakeland Regional Hospital and served on the kid's ministry and connections team at Grace City Church. She also spent her evenings tutoring students online who needed support in math, literature, history, and science, as well as in SAT/ACT standardized test preparation. Upon graduation, Isabella Gleason aims to pursue a PhD in Psychology with the goal of helping to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Disruption in Attachment Style Through the Lens of Friendship DissolutionSofia Fernandez will graduate with a degree in psychology at Southeastern University, where she served as president of the university’s Psi Chi International Honors Society chapter and as Senator for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Throughout her time at Southeastern University, she was a research assistant for the Southeastern Psychological Applied Research Center (SPARC) presenting her original research and assisting with faculty research studies and presentations. Upon graduation, she plans to work as a research assistant before pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She seeks to specialize in research and clinical practice with adolescent populations experiencing symptoms related to borderline personality disorder.
Finding Truth, Learning Goodness, Appreciating Beauty: A Study of Classical EducationGrace Randall is pursuing a Bachelors in Historical & Literary Studies. During her time at SEU, she serves as a 2nd year Resident Assistant, as well as Representative in Student Government. She also volunteers with children’s ministry at King’s Church. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a Masters in Classical Education and work in journalism, while teaching at a classical charter school.

During his time at SEU, he has served as a residential mentor for the LINK program and has worked in the campus mailroom since his freshman year. He has also served as an electric guitarist for SEU Worship during chapel services. Upon graduation, he plans to move to Wisconsin to pursue a career in marketing.
Digital Media and ADHD: Unraveling the Impact of Screen Time within Generation ZJonathan Dowers will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. He has worked for SEU Creative for the past five semesters as a social media video editor and film photographer, and has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician in the field of ABA during semester breaks. He also holds a social media marketing internship with Bring Change to Mind, a national mental health nonprofit. After graduation, he plans to continue his education, seeking a master's degree in mental health counseling with the goal of becoming a licensed therapist in the future.
Modern Lycanthropy: Werewolves in StorytellingIsabel "Izzy" Moon is a creative writing major with a film production minor. During her time at SEU, she has become a published author and poet. She has also co-written, acted, and worked in crew positions for several student films. Upon graduation, Izzy hopes to become a novelist and continue working in film.
The Power of Parental Involvement: Its Impact on Student Success in the ClassroomJulia Steinbrueck is an education major. She was on the SEU cheer team and served at Access Church. Upon graduation, she plans to teach at a local elementary while pursuing her masters.
The Impact of Secondary School Dress Codes on Student DisciplineMackenzie Bonsall is majoring in secondary education with a focus in English. During her time as a student at SEU, she has served as a tutor as well as a youth director. Following her graduation, Mackenzie will be accepting a position in her local school district to teach in a Title 1 high school classroom.
Healing from CodependencyPaige Ashley is an exceptional student education major. She has been involved with the middle and high school special needs program on campus (Pathways School of Excellence), a special needs summer camp (Foundation for Dreams at Dream Oaks Camp), and has been a leader of Southeastern University's education honor society Kappa Delta Pi. Paige dreams to teach exceptional students and one day open a school that celebrates each and every one of their abilities and talents.
